Level 2: Improvers

Where: The Barwon River Geelong. Meeting at West Fyans Street Boat Ramp. If river conditions are not appropriate Corio Bay Boat Ramp to be used instead.

Length: 5 X 90 minute sessions

Who: Beginner Paddlers certificate holders & those with introductory kayaking skills.

Skills learnt:  Improver kayaking skills, self rescues (in sit on tops) & how to manage common risks of flat water environments.

What's next: Join an Improver Paddlers Plus course and/or paddle socially in sit on top kayaks in calm flat waters.

Craft: Single Sit On Top Kayaks (weight limit 130kg)

• Course 1: Five Sundays from February 12th - March 12th 11 am - 12:30 pm
• Course 2: TBC

What you need to bring: Towel, change of clothes, water, personal medication.

What you need to wear: Clothes you don't mind getting wet that are appropriate to the conditions.
