Are She Paddles Social Events for me?
She paddles is a women only kayaking community run by women for women. We have events for complete beginners to more experienced paddlers, so women of all ages, kayaking abilities and fitness levels are encouraged to join us on the water. Whether you come by yourself or bring a friend the awesome like minded She Paddles community will enthusiastically welcome you to the team!



Am I too Young/Old?
She Paddles is for any women 18 - 99+
Our groups tend to have mixed ages with women aged from 18 to 80.
Am I fit/experienced enough?
Many of our events are suitable for beginners and only require you to be fit enough to sustain gentle activity for the duration of the event. Please check the event for fitness/experience requirements.
Can I come alone?
Yes! Our instructors and all the women who paddle with She Paddles are friendly, kind and very inclusive. Many women come alone and leave with new friends.

She Paddles Winter Explorers
Info: Join us every Sunday for 5 weeks to explore the local waters of Greater Geelong. All kayaking equipment is provided, and the paddles are run by knowledgeable and friendly instructors. This event is suitable for beginners who can sustain 2 hours of gentle - moderate exercise.
Locations:
Week 1: Thompson Creek at Connewarre
Week 2: Barwon River at Ocean Grove
Week 3: Lake Connewarre at Connewarre
Week 4: Barwon River at Inverleigh
Week 5: Painkalac Creek at Aireys Inlet
Dates : Sundays. June 8 - July 6, 9:30 - 11:30am​

What to bring

Clothes you don't mind getting wet and that don't absorb water e.g. active wear or wetsuit

A warm layer to wear on the water if needed e.g. fleece, water proof jacket
