About

She Paddles

Beginner Paddlers (Level 1)

Where: Barwon River Geelong. Meeting at West Fyans Street Boat Ramp. If River conditions are not appropriate Corio Bay Boat Ramp will be used instead.

When: 

  • 2023 Course 1: Five Saturdays from January 7th - Feb 4th, 9 am - 10:30 am
  • 2023 Course 2: Five Tuesdays from January 31st - February 28th, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Length: 5 X 90 minute sessions

Who: Complete novices & those who need a refresher

Skills learnt: Beginner kayaking skills & how to manage common risks of calm, enclosed flat water environments.

What's next: Join an Improver Paddlers course

Cost: $265

Craft: Single Sit On Top Kayaks (weight limit 130kg)

What you need to bring: Towel, change of clothes, water, personal medication.

What you need to wear: Clothes you don't mind getting wet that are appropriate to the conditions.
