About
Become a part of our fantastic kids kayaking club, where young explorers aged 6 to 17 can jump into the thrilling world of paddle sports! Our program focuses on skill development through engaging games, building confidence, forging friendships, and discovering the environment—all while having a great time! We’ve structured the club into groups to guarantee that everyone learns and progresses with others of the same age when they are beginners and then by skill level as they progress.Â
Beginners learn flat water kayaking strokes, basic decision making and self and partner rescues on sit on top kayaks on the Barwon River in Geelong.
Improvers transition into sit in kayaks where they learn more advanced kayaking strokes, how to lead their peers on the water and develop their confidence in capsize rescues.
Intermediates start learning moving water skills including the use of spray decks, they also get the opportunity to try…
